Also told Krystal Blue from MySpace I'd enter her contest thing for the artwork on the back for her next cd thing, and she tried registering on mygrounds.org to submit herself to the dj part but the site was going so slow she couldn't register

ne ways heres what I got so far on Annla, I wanna work some cool import car into it so its all zooming looking and finish off the stuff around her to make it look like a road wrapping around her n say some stuff about import hotness lol *drools*

I'm working on a Hot Import Night Theme for the site now maybe that'll inspire to work more on this

dude from myspace said he's interested in sponsoring and that I might look into a new webhost cause some stuff about jumps or something, I still think my current host is pimp except their shared server deal has grown to suck. I did some more research on them and found out that on the current set up I'm on they have 200 accounts per server... and each account is allowed 5% resources? According to the email I got from them! Thats so horrible! I guess for $5 a month that's what I get right? lol, it's good for personal sites I guess but I'm guessing that on my server a good portion of those people are doing crazy stuff now like attacking email lists n such

Never pick up hitchhikers btw I got a crazy story you reminded me about. So me n a friend are going to a club and see this girl walking on the side of the street going our direction, we're always talking about picking up a hitchhiker cause it'd be cool ya know. So my friends like damn that chicks hot and were like PICK HER UP!

She tells us she has nowhere to go cause her house is locked and no ones home and she has no clue where anyones at... so we're like what should we do? She says she'll go with us to the club and wait except she can't get in cause she's not 17 yet (says she's 16) I was 19 and my friend 18 at the time.

Go to the club leave her in the car while we party around for about 2 hours and leave her with the radio on. Afterwards we drop her off at "her house" she knocks says no ones home yet. So we're like damn and end up bringing her to my friends house who lives with his grandparents that are asleep.

I'm spending the night over and sleep on the top bunk. "they" sleep on the bottom bunk. They fool around and go into a different bedroom. Next morning when his grandparents are awake my friend gets her out his bedroom window so she can go home.

We go back to sleep. An hour later someones knocking on the front door and it ends up being her again! She's talking to his grand parents saying she's an old friend of my friends and that she can't get into her house. She spends half of the day there while we're like what the fuck is happening, why is the hitch hiker chilling in the living room with my friendsgrand parents!

His grandparents get her to call constantly and finally drive her to her house when they come back they tell us that the house was abondoned, furniture and all. They call child protective services, it turns out she was 13 and her parents house had been raided by police and her parents were put in jail for selling drugs, she had snuck out the back door when the house was raided and had been living between houses with friends hiding her in their closets until she had nowhere to go... fucked up shit. My friend is a ho and a few weeks later he steals my car and leaves me stranded at a party with no ride, I never talked to him again

so this is VPS... like a dedicated server but not exactly my own server, it's a "virtual private server" its like splitting a section of a harddrive and saying this is your "dedicated server" wink wink

I'll have root access n be able to install any script I want so it's like having a dedicated server lol, the extra 20 a month is for having whm/cpanel/php installed for me which I have no clue about it

so freakn 50 bucks a month so the site can run at a better speed, the speed issue is seriously bad tho. The site hangs and I get the white page a lot now, no one wants to hang out on a place where they gotta way forever between page loads!

Ok 50 bucks gotta find some sponsors!

P4 1.8 Ghz but only allowed to use 5%! If I'm on a shared server and everyones allowed 5% that's the reason the sites slow grrr, gotta look up what a vps account is, if thats cheaper than the cheapest $150 a month dedicated server then that'll be the new goal

If your site has alot of traffic and is script based, it will generally
run slower on peak hours. The server is a P4 1.8 Ghz with 1 GB Ram. We
use nothing less than that server configuration. ULight hosting account
is allowed to use 5% of the server output. The same with any of our web
hosting packages.

Another thing that you can try is to optimize your mySQL database so it
can load faster. Or if you require more resouces, you can try out VPS
accounts.

Hi5 its gotta be the cheesiest site i've ever seen, its like freindster and myspace but its so bubbly colored and pastel it makes me wanna puke. God someone get it away, I so did not intend to send 35 invitations to taht god awful site, I was tricked dammit!

They have it set up so that you think your just adding the people already on hi5 to your friends list but have everyone not on hi5 checked so that when you click the add my friends it also emails all the other people invitations to join Hi5, that is so sneaky it rules lol. If only their site didnt make you wanna shoot some of those people you seee amongst all those colors on sight and close your browser window the moment you were in, delete all traces of Hi5 cuteness off the face of your hard drive, Hi5 might actually be cool lol

You couldnt even send them hate mail, unless of course your hate mail included an attachement of a light blue n pink teddy bear picture to it otherwise your hatemail attempt would make you feel like you were committing a crime!

I'm downloading Windows XP with SP2 from someones Gmail account! Good stuff, they actually shared their name n password and in their account they have Windows available for download at a highspeed connection lol

If anyones interested you can use gmail as an internet harddrive, theres a program that actually created a hard drive looking thing on your computer and connects to gmail to store files :)

Dude hello lj... if I found sponsors for each city I think I could seriously compete with MySpace and their Coldfusion using selves lo PHP is wherr is at! hahal. It's taken them about 2 years to build their site up? I've only seriously started in October for one city and got a really good response with what I'm doing now I go for something like MySpace but at the same time do the same thing I'm doing with DFW... it's fucking insanity... downside is I'd be mainly targetting "the in crowd" as in not older people, or people who are not into music or partying or cars... that leaves out quite a bit of people I think but if I could afford to host music and the the music is on MyGrounds instead people will come... : /

Unlike MySpace I can get advertisers on a local level (Car shops, Clubs, etc Local stores) for local sites and also get advertisers at a national level like MySpace... thats some serious dough (Local people would advertise like woah cause each local site would dominate search engines for their locality)
